429 Too Many Requests
You've hit a rate limit
Seen in APIs, CDNs, web servers
The server is limiting how often you, or your IP, can make requests.
Common causes
- A script or integration sending requests too fast.
- A shared IP (office, VPN, CI) exceeding a per-IP limit.
- A bot-protection rule.
How to fix it
- Slow down and honour the Retry-After header.
- Use exponential backoff for retries.
- Ask the provider about higher limits or API keys.
